Turkish Kebob Fatte
1.Preheat an electric grill.
2.Shape the kofta into small fingers.
3.Cut the eggplants into medium size cube.
4.Cut the tomato into quarters.
5.Thread 3 fingers of the kofta alternatively with the eggplants and tomatoes on wooden skewers.
6.Grill for 10 minutes until kofta is cooked.
7.Cut the bread into halves and fry until golden brown.
8.Yogurt sauce: in a bowl whisk the yogurt, garlic, salt and mint. Set aside.
9.Tomato sauce: in a medium size saucepan heat the oil over medium heat and add the onion, garlic and chili. Cook until onion is translucent. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Let the sauce cook for 5 minutes.
10.For serving: in a serving platter put the fried bread, drizzle about half of the tomato sauce, and then the yogurt sauce. Top with the kofta and eggplant skewers and drizzle with the rest of the tomato sauce.
