1.In a stainless steel saucepan heat the oil over medium heat and then add the flour and roast until golden brown.
2.Add the water and cook until thick sauce forms.
3.Add the cardamom, milk and date. Keep stirring until soft dough forms. Cook the dough for 10 minutes stirring continuously. Let the dough cool completely.
4.Line mini cake cups molds with mini paper cups. You can use colored or decorated ones.
5.Using a teaspoon fill each paper cup with date dough. Sprinkle the nuts and press gently.
6.Serve Date Sweets with coffee or tea.
